Alan Suderman: In Florida, it’s virtually impossible to track how much was spent by outside groups trying to hurt or help a particular candidate.

Ashley Lopez: Outside spending groups such as Super PACs spent millions during this election, particularly in swing states including Florida. However, the Sunlight Foundation found that many of the groups helping out Republican candidates received abysmal returns on investment.
