Eric Barton was a guest this week on WBUR’s “Here & Now,” which is broadcast on more than 380 NPR member stations across the country, to discuss his story “Florida’s Toll Lane Boom.”

Barton’s reporting found that the state’s new toll lane projects, derisively called “Lexus Lanes,” began following state-funded reports that were written by a think tank that receives funding from toll lane developers.

On “Here & Now,” Barton explained that Florida’s toll lane projects have received little public input and no one knows what they will cost in the end.
