A collaborative report by the Florida Center for Investigative Reporting and WLRN-Miami Herald News was named a finalist in the annual Investigative Reporters and Editors Awards.
The report — “In Florida, Officials Ban Term ‘Climate Change,’ “ produced by Tristram Korten and Alicia Zuckerman — revealed how the administration of Gov. Rick Scott had warned state employees not to use the terms “climate change” or “global warming” in any official communications.
